GALLIGNANI and KVERNELAND have made a strategic alliance in the business area of balers and wrappers.
The parties expect to capitalize on their complementary strengths and achieve synergies in the future product development and production as well as in sales and distribution.

On the basis of this agreement, GALLIGNANI will supply KVERNELAND GROUP with a broad range of balers and wrappers under the brand names of Vicon and Kverneland for global distribution.

The Gallignani products in the original brand will be available through the Italian manufacturer’s distribution network except for the countries where Kverneland Group has been assigned exclusive distribution.

Further the parties have also agreed with immediate effect to distribute country specific information regarding the future distribution approach, branding and marketing activities.

This agreement has a strategic reach and will for GALLIGNANI be the fundament for a long term development plan which is expected to bring a considerable increase of production volumes. This represents the reward for the company policy of heavy investments in the product range and in the re-organization of its production, now based on the philosophy of the “Lean Production” which will create great flexibility and overall higher efficiency.
