1922: Augusto Gallignani starts up a little smithy where they repair agricultural tools and implements.
1953: Gallignani establishes a working relationship with Federconsorzi, providing the company with a nationwide distribution network.
1957: At the Verona Exhibition, Gallignani introduces the first square baler, model 145, for the harvest and baling of straw and hay; it is their first great success.
1961: First exports of Gallignani machines.
1975: The manufacture of the first round baler starts.
1976: Gallignani makes a major investment buying the Garavini Seeder Company and records a turnover of more than 10 billion Lira, with a staff of 300.
1981: Starting of an investment programme for the robotization of the production process.
1996: The Trading Division is created to import hay-making machines.
1997: The first branch in Canada, GF one Inc., is set up thanks to a joint venture to market Gallignani's products in the important North American market. In the same year Gallignani obtains UNI EN ISO 9001 certification from the prestigious DNV Institute.
1999: Opening of a new factory where all Gallignani production takes place.
2001: Purchase of a majority shareholder package of Sigma 4 SpA. of Forlì.
2002: Agreement with the AGCO Corporation group to supply personalised round balers with the Massey Ferguson and Fendt brand.
2004: New generation of round balers: GA V9, GA V6, GA C5, GA CR32 e GA CR12.
